Hello friends! It's been awhile since my last post..... we have lots to catch up on!
I've freshened up the kitchen a little bit for Autumn/winter and am so excited to share some new additions with you all!!
Our kitchen like in many homes is the heart of the home. Its where I spend most of my time (when I'm home) with my family and friends!
I'm a little OCD when it comes to my kitchen....It like it clean, neat, tidy & uncluttered ....did I say neat & tidy!! LOL oh well... I don't really care how untidy the rest of the house is
I personally think when you wake up to a clean and tidy kitchen your whole day starts off with a positive mood.
I just love the family rule sign! My kids often sit on the lounge and read it out loud . Its nice to hear them read positive words about kindness, respect & love.
Who else is loving the pastel colours at the moment? Pastel and cool colours are my favourite!
I love the the nice fresh and summer feel these colours bring to my kitchen especially because its nearly winter here it might help me forget about how COLD it is becoming!!!
Can you spot my newest little edition to the kitchen?? When I saw these vintage scales I just had to get them!
One of my favorite things to decorate with is lemons! I love the freshness it adds :) I also found these cute little bowls.
I have left my chopping boards out as i love the timber and marble together.
I keep my mixer out on the bench because I use it nearly every second day and I like the look of it. I'm in the process of saving up for a new kitchen aid mixer which i LOVE!! and it will match the new mint colour tray I have in the corner.
In one of our pantries I have our popcorn machine and toaster nicely stored away. We do a popcorn movie night every Friday and i normally set up a little popcorn store and the kids come the "Popcorn cupboard" and collect their popcorn and treat :)
