Fall/Winter Tablescape!

I hope everyone's weekend is off to a good start! We have been rained in today with extremely heavy rain fall so much in fact we have a nice swimming pool starting to take place our front yard.We had big plans to start renovating the back of our house this weekend so that is on hold for now :(

Anyway on a positive note I have finally finished decorating my formal table for autumn/winter. It was easy and simple to achieve only took 15 mins to arrange and rearrange and rearrange again till i was happy ;)

I just love having a set table! This room is the first room you walk into once you come upstairs so it's nice to have a nicely decorated area especially because we never really sit at this table only when we have guests over or on a special occasion like anniversaries, birthdays, christmas etc.... and if it wasn't nicely set I'm sure I would have baskets of clean washing piled up on it LOL!

I have used my wooden dough bowl as a center piece which is sitting on a blue table runner and decorated it with candles, a silver candle holder and some fabric pumpkins I made and finished it off with some pine cones I collected last eater when we went camping!

I have a small orange pumpkin and 2 large burlap pumpkins which are nice autumn/winter colours and they also match the Mountain ash stems on the side cabinet I purchased from Pottery Barn they are also in the Hyannis lantern also from Pottery barn.

I had some really nice silver napkin rings which I have misplaced so all I have used instead  is some natural twine to keep them together. Works a treat!!

I have my napkins and cups/saucers on these natural braided round place mats

With all the wood and natural tones I also love to add a bit of greenery on a table to freshen up the look.

The plant holders and plants are from Ikea.....I own way to may of these LOL! I have them in blue and white.

These candles are my Christmas candles but I use them all year round as they aren't too christmasy.

I Found a really nice silver metallic pumpkin which would tie in really nicely with the candle pillar, light and lanterns.........I'll definitely add it to my wish list :)

Enjoy your weekends!!
